The clifftop viewpoint for this iconic shipwreck was perfectly aligned to capture this Milky Way backdrop.
This is an enlargement of the lower 6 frames of a 13 – frame panorama. What I love about multi - shot panoramas is the amazing detail in the final stitched image. So many fascinating features of the night sky can be clearly seen.
At 37° latitude I really enjoyed seeing lower parts of the Milky Way not usually visible at home, further north.
