Wheal Coates has been a tricky one for me! I've had two other attempts here ruined by clouds, Saturday night ravers, and my own clumsiness with the focus ring! So third time lucky! Especially here, there always seem to be clouds rolling along the coast but I haven't seen a clear night like this for a long time. This is the first astro shot I've been able to capture since May! The first chance to use my star tracker so straight in at 50mm!
Because of it's long shape I thought it was perfect to make available as a door mural.
